Boat Excursions
A new module for managing excursion operators (whale watching, leisure boat tours, etc.) at ports. Excursion providers apply to operate at specific ports, log their excursions, and communicate with port staff.
Excursion Provider Main Features
Apply to operate at a port — submit a registration request; can re-apply after rejection. Register excursion vessels (leisure / whale watching types). Log excursions, departure/return times, passenger count, vessel, notes, incident reporting. Dates locked to max 24h ahead View log history with full audit trail per entry Receive notifications in-app + email when application is approved or rejected Direct messaging with port users and other excursion providers in their country of operations
For Ports
View excursion operator registrations, approve or reject with notes (rejection reason required). View all excursion logs across all operators at their ports in a paginated table. Bulk process logs, mark multiple logs as processed in one action. Read-only view of log details, including incidents and operator notes. Receive notifications, when a new application arrives, and when an incident is reported on a log. Export excursion logs to Excel, unprocessed only, processed only, or all logs. Direct messaging with excursion operators in their country.
Insights panel
Stats aggregated server-side (not page-derived): total, new, processed, incidents. Current year and month excursion count + passenger totals. Port users additionally see a per-operator breakdown.
