Booking Horizon & Estimated Cost Transparency
This update brings a number of features we've been working on for a while, including a full rebuild of bulk booking, port booking policies, vessel environmental data, and more. As always, your feedback shapes what we build.
Bulk booking overhaul
The bulk booking tool has been fully rebuilt. Key improvements include:
Timezone aware — bookings now work correctly for agents across different time zones
Policy warnings — you'll be warned before placing calls that exceed port policies or fall on blocked dates
Paste from Excel — copy values directly from a spreadsheet and paste them into the booking grid. Our parser assigns them automatically
Note: port names must match exactly as they appear in the platform. Special character handling will be addressed in a future update.
Port booking policies
Ports can now configure booking policies to control how and when calls can be placed:
Booking horizons — set how far in advance standard and turnaround calls can be placed, with separate values for each
Blocked dates — block specific days or public holidays. Agents will not be able to place calls on blocked dates
Support & ticketing
A built-in ticketing system is now available for submitting feedback, questions, or bug reports. Find it in the side navigation under Support while logged in.
Subscription management for admins
Admin users can now manage subscriptions for their organization directly from the platform:
Cancel at the end of the current billing period
Cancel and close the account immediately
Reactivate a subscription if cancelled by mistake
Vessel environmental data
Vessel pages now display verified environmental data sourced from the EMSA THETIS database under the EU MRV regulation, including annual CO² emissions, fuel consumption, and CO² per passenger.
Coverage is limited to vessels reporting under EU MRV. Ships operating primarily outside EU ports or below the 5,000 GT threshold may not have a record. Data is updated annually.
Filtering & export improvements
Multi-status filtering: select multiple statuses at once in the advanced filter, including last status. Cruise line filtering is also supported
Export options: the export button on the port call list now offers a simplified export with clean columns, or a full raw data export
Bug fixes & improvements
Comments: unread count on the port call list now displays correctly. Opening the comments tab marks all messages as read
References removed: the references feature has been removed from port calls and replaced entirely by the comments system
Turnaround display: turnaround calls were not displaying correctly in the port call list, now resolved
Date filter: updated to correctly show months and years; fixed an issue where the most recent booking did not appear in results
Calendar: performance and mobile usability improvements. Some fine-tuning is still ongoing
