Vessel Restriction Policies for Ports: decide which ships can call at your port
Ports can now set limits on the ships that call there: the number of passengers, ship length, draught, emissions rating and how long a ship may stay. A short guided setup walks you through each limit using your own port’s calls and the ships that have visited. For each limit you decide what happens when a ship is over it. You can turn it away, or let the request through with a warning. Agents see your restrictions as they book, one call at a time or in bulk, so a request that doesn’t fit is caught before it reaches you.
Major User Interface Update and More
Hi everyone, DOKK is growing from a cruise booking platform between agencies and ports into a fuller port community system: one place where ports, agents, cruise lines and their teams plan, book, staff and follow up on every call.
It comes with a new look, shift management for ports, reworked port calls, environmental data and much more. Here are the highlights.
For interested parties who want to take a look at the new platform and give feedback, we will be hosting an open Teams meeting next week with a link in our broadcast that we sent to your email. After that, we will deploy the new update.
Port Service Requests and Allocations
This update focuses on cutting down manual work and making the day-to-day booking flow smarter on both sides of the desk. Bulk booking now supports uploading itinerary exports directly instead of typing every call by hand, port users get clearer visibility into what's waiting for their attention, and ports gain more flexibility in how they handle requests that fall outside their normal booking window. We've also significantly deepened port services - from real-world shore power modeling to sharing equipment like tugboats across ports.
Excursion Providers and Calendar updates
This update brings minor updates to the calendar, visually but also improves the flow of navigating adjacent months. 1.5 also slightly fixes the MFA system and moves from 24 hour verification to 72 hour verification. Major inclusion in this update is the addition of excursion providers in DOKK.
Vessel Intelligence & Operational Improvements
We're shipping a focused update today with a mix of quality-of-life improvements for daily operations and a significant step forward in how vessel data is captured and shared across the platform.
Port Cancellation Policies
Ports can now define transparent fee structures for agents, and track all triggered cancellation fees directly in DOKK.
Booking Horizon & Estimated Cost Transparency
This update brings a number of features we've been working on for a while, including a full rebuild of bulk booking, port booking policies, vessel environmental data, and more. As always, your feedback shapes what we build.
Port Services & In-Platform Messaging
Agencies can now browse a live directory of port services, and all users gain access to a direct messaging channel between ports and agents.
DOKK Platform - v1.0 Launch
The first public release of the DOKK port management platform, introducing core tools for ports, shipping agencies, and vessel operators.
